This gathering is more than just an event—it’s a place where you’ll feel truly held. It’s a time for wellness practices, nature connection, nourishing meals and coming together in circle with other mothers, grandmothers, and aunties who understand the unique challenges and joys of raising children. We’ll nourish our souls with workshops, crafts, song, story, and the healing power of being in nature, while our children thrive in the embrace of the village.
This is your chance to pause, breathe, and let the wisdom of the earth and community restore you. Together, we’ll create a space where you can feel supported, replenished, and inspired—so you can return to your daily life with renewed energy and deeper connection.
By investing in yourself, you’re also investing in your children’s well-being and the strength and foundation for your everyday life. This gathering is a chance to grow together, to heal together, and to thrive as a community.

Wild Earth Mama Campout: An Invitation to Remember, Reconnect, and Reawaken
Dates: 21st-24th February 2025 (3 nights, 3 days)
The Wild Earth Mama Campout is a sacred space where we will remember the essence of who we are—we are nature, and we are not separate from it. In the heart of nature, we awaken our innate way of being, living in harmony with the Earth and the rhythms of the seasons. This gathering is an alchemical journey that blends the wisdom of our ancestors, the power of connection, the strength of community, and the simplicity of living in tune with the natural world.
This is an invitation to return to the beautiful simplicities of what it means to be human: to live with presence, purpose, and a deep bond with the Earth.
What to Expect:
• A Village Way of Being: At the Wild Earth Mama Campout, we will practice a village way of being, weaving together the threads of community, connection, and collaboration. Through shared responsibilities, we will remember the strength of the collective, honoring both individual contributions and the unity that arises from working together. This temporary village is a living example of what it means to live in harmony with each other and the Earth.
• Food and Cooking Together: Nourishment goes beyond food—it’s about the ritual of coming together to share and prepare meals with love and intention. As we cook together, we will not only nurture our bodies but also deepen our connection to the land and to one another. Meals will be created with seasonal, wholesome ingredients, honoring the alchemy of earth, fire, and community.
• Ancestral & Bush Skills: Part of our journey is to remember the ancient wisdom of our ancestors. In hands-on workshops, we will engage in bush skills and ancestral crafts that have sustained humanity for generations. We will rekindle practices like making fire, crafting tools, and more, empowering ourselves with the tools to live simply and sustainably, just as our ancestors did. These skills help us return to a way of life that is in alignment with the natural world and its rhythms.
• Creative Expression & Connection: Throughout the campout, we will create space to awaken our creative spirit. Whether through crafting, dancing, singing, or storytelling, you’ll be invited to express yourself freely, connecting to the life force that runs through all of us. Together, we’ll dance under the stars, sing songs of joy, and create art that celebrates our shared humanity and connection to the Earth.
• Deepening Connection with Nature: In the embrace of nature, we will remember that we are part of something much larger than ourselves. Guided connection, time spent in quiet reflection, and moments of stillness by the fire will help us reconnect to the elemental forces that sustain us. In nature, we will practice living in rhythm with the seasons, learning from the Earth’s natural cycles, and grounding ourselves in the present moment.
• Wellness Practices for Mind, Body, and Spirit: Every day will include opportunities for yoga, Wayapa, and meditation, helping us cultivate mindfulness and wellness.
• Yoga will allow us to align our bodies with the rhythms, releasing tension and creating space for inner stillness.
• Wayapa, an Earth-based practice, will guide us in reconnecting with the land, practicing movements that ground and center us in harmony with the environment.
• Meditation will invite us to cultivate presence and awareness, tuning into the subtle rhythms of the body, breath, and the natural world around us.
• Mindfulness practices will help us stay present in each moment, fostering deep awareness and gratitude for the simple joys of being alive.
• Mentors for Children: While mothers come together to remember and reconnect, children will be guided by nurturing mentors in exploration, play, and creativity. The children will have the freedom to roam, discover, and create with nature, supported by a circle of loving guides. It’s an opportunity for both parents and children to flourish in a harmonious, nature-filled environment.
• Circle Time & Reflection: Each day will begin and end in circle—a sacred space where we come together to share, listen, and reflect. In circle, we honor the power of connection and collective wisdom, remembering that each person’s voice and presence is integral to the whole. These shared moments of reflection will ground us in the values of presence, gratitude, and mindful living.
-
Extra nourishment: we are excited to offer extra opportunities for nourishment and healing through specialised treatments designed to deepen your experience. Joan will be offering cranial sacral massage, a gentle yet powerful therapy that helps release tension and promote relaxation.
